About Me:
I am a recent graduate of Dickinson College where I really got to explore my passions. A few highlights from my time at Dickinson include working as an intern for the Center for Sustainability Education, participating in the Dickinson to Durban Climate Change Africa Mosaic, and spending a semester abroad in Tanzania. As an Environmental Science major I discoverd that my passion is for aquatic ecoystems. I am most interested in salt marsh and estuarine ecosystems and the resilency of these ecoystemes to climate change.
I am originally from the greater Philadelphia area where I lived with both my parents and my younger sister. I attended Mount St. Joseph Academy in Flourtown, Pa. Attending an all girls high school has definitely shaped who I am today and given me the confidence to take on whatever challenges come my way.
Currently, I am working in the Chesapeake Conservation Corps. Through the CCC program I have placed at the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy in Easton, Md where I currently live.
